Description of primary duties and responsibilities:
Primary Purpose of the Position:

The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership in establishing and achieving enrollment goals. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success and Enrollment Management, this position ensures responsive and effective enrollment services in the following offices: Admissions, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services Call Center, and Veterans Affairs; serves as chair of the university-wide Enrollment Management Committee; and collaborates with offices and personnel throughout the university to promote student retention.
Description of Work Continued:
The specific responsibilities of the position include:
  • Description of Work Guides the development and submission of annual enrollment projections with collaboration from all units throughout the university.
  • ·Serves as chair of the university-wide Enrollment Management Committee, whose primary purpose is to review and improve all programs and services for recruiting and retaining students and to recommend improvements as needed;
  • ·Gives oversight to the development and implementation of student recruitment strategies and procedures that lead to the enrollment of undergraduate and graduate students who are likely to complete degrees;
  • ·Ensures responsive and effective services in the Offices of Admission, Financial Aid, the Enrollment Services Call Center, and Veterans Affairs;
  • Establishes high standards for service excellence in all units and helps staff members achieve these standards through effective programs of evaluation and development.
  • Promotes collaboration and cooperation between these offices and other units to achieve FSU’s goals for enrollment, retention, and degree completion.
  • Works collaboratively with offices throughout the campus to offer effective support for the diverse student populations served by FSU, including traditional-aged students, adult learners, transfer students, and military-affiliated students.
  • Implements innovative and evidence-based recruitment programs and activities that engage the entire campus, including faculty, in attracting and enrolling undergraduate and graduate students who are likely to persist through degree completion.
  • Implements admissions and enrollment processes that leverage financial aid resources to promote enrollment and retention of undergraduate and graduates’ students.
  • ·Works collaboratively with other offices to help implement comprehensive marketing and branding activities in support of recruitment.
  • Reports on a regular basis to the Chancellor and Cabinet and the university community on the status of student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the provost or chancellor.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements:
Must have an earned master’s degree from an accredited university, with at least five years of successful leadership experience in progressively responsible roles in enrollment management.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:  
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience serving diverse student populations and significant numbers of adult learners and military affiliated students is highly preferred. 
  • Doctorate preferred.
